These insights and experience, (a combined total of over 35 years professional experience) are brought to the classroom for the benefit of our students.

Here is a list of our key staff:

Jerry Townshend - Director of Education

Our founder and Director of Education, Mr. G. A. (Jerry) Townshend, has 35 years of corporate expertise in Information Technology which includes General Motors, Canada Life, ERCO Industries, Scarborough Board of Education, Metro Separate School Board, York University as well as five years operating a corporate consulting business. Consequently, he brings a unique perspective to the discussions about career change, job prospects, and the requirements in the field of Information Technology.

Jerry Townshend, recieving an award from The Right Honourable Prime Minister Paul Martin and The Honourable Jim Karygiannis P.C. M.P. Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport.

Sandra Townshend - Principal

Sandra is the President and co-founder of Townshend College. She has extensive experience in the business world, specifically in the areas of real estate, legal, and publishing. Her credentials include being an approved continuing education instructor at York University and Ryerson and being the exclusive training facilitator for the Royal Bank's computer training division in Scarborough. Sandy instructs courses in Microsoft Office, Administration, and Desktop Publishing.
